Spray painting is a painting technique in which a device sprays coating material (paint, ink, varnish, etc.) through the air onto a surface. The liquid product releasing, i.e. paint, lubricant, detergent etc., and the pressurised gas called a propellant (typically Butane, Propane or CO2). The gas helps to push the liquid into the air and turn it into an aerosol cloud, resulting in the fine mist we see when we press down on the nozzle of the aerosol can.
